SCR, Inc. is a commercial and residential roofing contractor in Sanger, TX. We offer hail damage roof repairs, replacement, and new roof installation services. Get 24-hour services and insurance claim assistance. Call (972) 839-6834.
Why choose our roofing company in Sanger TX?
Yes, you need a permit to install a roof on new construction in Sanger. Permits help verify that the roofing project meets city building codes, structural requirements, and approved industry standards.
During permit review, local inspectors check the material type, slope design, attic ventilation, and how drainage, including gutters, is handled. This ensures your system can support weather conditions without creating long-term issues.
Whether your roofing needs include shingles, metal panels, or flat systems, permits also protect your investment. Unpermitted work can delay appraisals, block refinancing, or void insurance claims down the road.
We offer both residential and commercial roofing services. Our team works on homes, offices, schools, stores, and industrial buildings. Every job starts with a full inspection and ends with a clean worksite.
As a residential roofing contractor in Sanger TX, we help homeowners fix leaks, replace old systems, and improve attic ventilation. If your surface is worn out, missing sections, or leaking into your ceiling, we can replace it with better materials that handle Texas weather.
Our team also works as a commercial roofing contractor near you. We install and maintain systems for flat buildings, metal structures, retail centers, and apartment complexes. Every business has different needs. Some need better drainage. Others need a system that handles heavy heat or rooftop equipment. We build each to fit the use.
We use long-lasting materials and follow all Denton County codes. We give you photo updates, clear pricing, and work that lasts. If your business needs low-maintenance coverage or your home’s system is past its lifespan, we’re here to help.
We install new systems and replace old or damaged roofs. Our service covers both new buildings and full tear-offs on existing homes.
We install asphalt shingles, metal panels, and flat surfaces based on what works best for your structure. Many homeowners choose asphalt shingles because they cost less up front and hold up well in the Texas heat. They come in many colors and styles.
We also install metal roofing in Sanger, Texas, for clients who want long-lasting protection. Metal reflects heat, resists hail, and often lasts twice as long as traditional systems. It’s ideal for rural homes, barns, or anyone wanting fewer repairs over time.
If your surface is sagging, leaking in multiple areas, or over 15 years old, a replacement is often safer than patching the same spots. We remove all old layers, inspect the deck, and rebuild your system from the underlayment up.
What you get with our service:
Every project follows building codes and manufacturer requirements.
We offer 24-hour emergency service to stop active leaks and protect your home. If a storm hits overnight or your system starts leaking suddenly, we come fast, no waiting until morning.
Our team brings tarps, sealing materials, and safety gear. We stop water from spreading and check the surface for signs of damage. After we stabilize the area, we inspect the whole structure and document what we find for your insurance.
You don’t need to worry about calling multiple contractors. We handle the emergency fix, the inspection, and the follow-up repairs.
Storm Damage Repair
We handle storm damage repairs caused by high winds, falling branches, and flying debris. Wind can lift or tear away sections, leaving the inside exposed. Branches may crush vents or punch holes through surface materials.
We check everything, flashings, vents, drainage points, and decking. We replace missing pieces, seal all weak areas, and repair damage that could lead to water leaks or mold.
Our team also provides complete reports for your insurer, showing what failed and what was caused by the storm. We help you get coverage for what you’re owed.
Hail Damage Repair
We repair hail impact that causes cracks, dents, or bruised materials across the surface. Hail often looks harmless at first. But over time, the bruised areas soak up water, weaken fast, and lead to leaks months later.
We look for impact zones, remove damaged sections, and replace them with new ones. We also inspect attic insulation and decking from inside the home to spot hidden issues.
If your insurance already denied your claim, we can re-inspect and provide evidence to support a second review. Many homeowners don’t know damage was there until it’s too late, we help you stay ahead of it.
If your insurance claim has been denied, our local roofing company can help you fight back. Many claims get rejected for technical reasons, missing paperwork, misclassified damage, or insurer disputes over whether a storm caused the problem. We know how frustrating this is, especially when you need repairs or replacement.
Our licensed roofers work directly with homeowners and adjusters to review the denial, document the real cause of damage, and resubmit evidence when possible. We also provide detailed inspection reports, photos, and expert recommendations that strengthen your appeal.

EXCELLENT Based on 60 reviews Posted on M Morrison2024-06-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was very impressed with the timeliness of SCR. Brian was not only patient with my insurance company inspector, but he was patient with me deciding on the perfect roof and gutter colors, which turned out great. He is honest, professional and knowledgeable. SCR was really a one stop shop to fit my needs of roofing, screens, and gutters. I love doing business with a resourceful company, basically, all your needs are under one roofing contractor. Brian thank you for your excellent and timely service. Mia MorrisonPosted on Emmett Richardson2024-05-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a recent hail storm I called SCR’s Brian Roderick to come by and help me prepare a claim for my insurance company. This was the second time that I had worked with him on a claim for roof damage. The first had been handled very professionally with excellent results so I didn’t hesitate to be a return customer. Brian came out, inspected my roof and prepared a report listing all damages noted and an estimated cost to repair. He reviewed the insurance submission process with me and gave me a Hail Storm Report listing the date and time of the storm, path traveled, and reported hail stone sizes to submit with my claim. He also asked me to request that he be able to accompany the insurance company inspector during his inspection trip. The Insurance Company Inspector met with Brian on the agreed date, inspected the property with Brian and basically agreed to his assessment. As the agreed roof replacement date approached, Brian came by and reviewed what would happen the next day and announced that the crew would arrive and start work around 6:30 am. They arrived on time and the first person to ring our doorbell was the Crew Chief who introduced himself and said that if I had any questions during the day that I should just ask for him and he would take care of them. My wife asked him to be careful of some of the plants in our flower beds and he promptly had the crew arrange tarps to provide protective tents over sensitive plants. The work proceeded through the day with an army of roofers. I had told Brian that my wife and I had a dinner engagement and he showed up at the time I had told him we needed to leave. He said he would stay until everything was finished, including cleanup. When we returned that evening everything looked great and the property looked better than when they started. Hopefully I won’t need similar roofing efforts in the future, but in North Texas, who knows? If I do SCR will receive the call without hesitation. If Brian commits to something you can write it in ink…..it ain’t going to change.Posted on Joan Moses2024-04-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. SCR did a wonderful job from the start. Giving us multiple options and prices for roofing material. Cody Williams, our rep, was in regular contact and helped answer many questions for us.Posted on Andrew Bassford2024-04-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a recent hailstorm, we received Mark and SCR's info from one of our neighbors after they had their roof replaced. Mark was very prompt in coming out and inspecting the roof. He helped guide us through the insurance claims and inspection process and helped facilitate the process of working with the insurance company. When it was time for the install, SCR had a large professional crew that came out and finished in about 6-7 hours. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards. It feels good going with a local experienced company, as some of the roofing folks that go door-to-door after weather events can be pushy. Mark and the team from SCR were very courteous and professional and didn't pressure us at any point in the process. We'll definitely work with SCR again in the future and would highly recommend them to others for honest pricing and quality work.Posted on Jay Newlin2024-03-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a real pleasure to work with Mark Safford at SCR! He did a great job not only working with my insurance adjuster but also helped to navigate through my mortgage lender's third party Assurant. Mark's experience in the industry helped me to get the full value from my roofing claim, and his team did an excellent job getting the roof replaced with top-quality attention to details. I highly recommend working with Mark and his team!Posted on Mike Fisher2024-02-29Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our two story home suffered hail damage and had leaks on the dining room. CSR was our choice and it was right on target. Price, quality and workmanship is unmatched. Thank you for a great job.Posted on Jeff Hague2024-02-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic job replacing my roof after a hail storm. Cody made the process easy, quick and painless. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future. Highly recommend!!Posted on Sheri Amiri2024-02-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful experience with my recent roof replacement! Mark and his team were efficient and so easy to work with. Highly recommend. Roof looks great!Posted on J Mccoy2024-01-07Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was the best roofing experience, and we’ve dealt with several over the years with our rent houses. Brian was referred to me from a couple of neighbors. He came to the house and explained the process in detail, worked with our insurance company, gave me a couple of nearby addresses to drive by to help narrow down our choices. We have a steep roof with lots of angles and they finished in one day, cleaned up, and we have a great looking roof! I can’t say enough good things about them. Everything went flawlessly.Posted on Janie Carter2023-10-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent company! I will recommend Brian and his team at SCR, Inc to anyone needing roof repairs. They were punctual, hard working, honest and the quality of their work was beyond anything I've ever experienced. Thank you!

It’s recommended to schedule roof maintenance once a year and after major storms. This helps catch minor damage early, clean debris, and keep drainage working, extending the life of your surface and reducing emergency repairs.
A professional roof inspection includes checking for cracks, soft spots, flashing gaps, loose materials, and signs of moisture. It may also include attic checks and photo documentation, especially after storms or when preparing to sell your home.
A roofing contractor brings training, tools, and safety protocols that most homeowners don’t have. They follow code, spot hidden problems, and finish the job without voiding manufacturer warranties. DIY work can miss costly issues or cause further damage.
Durable materials like metal and impact-rated asphalt offer strong resale value. They last longer, hold up better in storms, and give buyers peace of mind. Energy-efficient coatings or solar-ready systems also boost long-term appeal.
Residential repair often focuses on slope issues, attic ventilation, and visible surface leaks. Commercial repair deals more with drainage, flat surfaces, and heavy equipment loads. The materials and approach differ for each building type.
Ask for a local business address, insurance papers, and manufacturer certifications. A trustworthy roofing contractor will also show photos of recent jobs, give clear bids in writing, and never ask for full payment up front.
Not always, some systems allow new layers over old ones if local code permits it. But tear-offs are more common in areas with high wind or hail exposure. Complete removal gives a clean base and helps spot hidden issues.
