SCR, Inc., General Contractors offers emergency commercial roof repair across the DFW Metroplex. We serve retail stores, offices, warehouses, restaurants, apartment complexes, and other business spaces.
As a fellow business, we understand that a roof leak is more than water damage. It means closed doors and soaked inventory. Our crews are dispatched 24/7 to restore business operations quickly.
Our licensed roofers tarp the leak, document the damage for your insurance company, and schedule permanent fixes around your business hours. You also get full multi-family roofing support for HOAs and facility managers.
Why trust SCR?
Our commercial roof repair services cover all kinds of urgent damage your building can sustain. From active leaks and fallen trees to high wind tears and debris, one call puts us on your roof within hours.
Leaks on roofs often start at seams, drains, or flashing points. Our crews find the source fast using visual checks and thermal scans. Then we seal it. Same-day repairs are available.
After hail, wind, or severe weather, our storm damage restoration crews walk every square foot of your roof. We log every instance of damage and prepare a detailed scope for your insurance carrier.
When the leak is too large and the storm is still active, our emergency tarping service helps minimize damage. Tarps and boards keep water out until the weather clears and permanent repair can start.
Single-ply systems like TPO, PVC, and EPDM can leak through failed seams, punctures, or lifted flashing. Our crews fix damaged membranes and repair seams.
We help you build proof for your insurance claims with photos and written reports. If your claim gets denied, our appraisal process gives you a second chance.
Our five-step process for commercial roofing emergencies has clear hand-offs and no wasted time.
You can call 972-839-6834 at any hour. A live team member logs your details and dispatches the closest available crew. They get to your location within hours, day or night.
Our crew will inspect your roof if it is safe. Active leaks get tarped or patched right away, and broken openings get boarded.
We scan the full roof with thermal imaging and hands-on tools. Every defect gets photographed, measured, and noted. That way, you get a detailed report for insurance.
Next, we provide you with an itemized quote that breaks down the costs of materials and labor. Nothing starts until you approve.
We complete roof repairs with high-quality materials to meet Texas building codes. Then, we walk you through the finished job.
Commercial roofs come in dozens of materials, and each one leaks differently. Our crews are trained on the full range, so we can fix what’s actually on your building.
TPO is a single-ply membrane used on most modern flats. We patch seams and repair sections without pulling the whole roof.
EPDM is a synthetic rubber roofing, tough and flexible. We patch punctures, reseal seams, and restore worn sections using high-quality materials.
PVC roofs handle chemicals and grease well, which is why restaurants and factories pick them. We put in patches and replace damaged sections. Proper weld temperature is key.
Modified bitumen is asphalt-based roll roofing for low slopes. We offer fast repairs to restore operations.
BUR systems layer asphalt and felt for a tough, long-lasting cap. We offer the right repairs that help them last for decades.
Any low-slope system can pool water, causing cracks in seams. Our crews handle all flat roofing, including drainage repairs and fastener replacements.
Commercial metal roofing covers seam, screw-down, and corrugated panels. We fix flashing and reseal fasteners.
Spray foam roofing adds insulation and a waterproof cap in one system. We repair damaged roof sections to restore full protection.
Fluid-applied coatings seal aging roofs and extend their life by years. We patch damaged zones to save the cost of a full tear-off.
Reflective commercial roof coatings cut cooling bills and protect the membrane below. We repair damaged coating layers and reapply where needed.
Routine commercial roof inspections catch small issues while they’re cheap to fix. Our crews use thermal imaging to spot moisture before it wrecks the deck. We also clear drains, reseal fasteners, and check every penetration.
An ongoing roof maintenance plan includes twice-yearly checks and post-storm visits. Every time, you will get a written report. That paperwork also helps at claim time, since carriers ask for maintenance records.
SCR, Inc. General Contractors is available round-the-clock to provide emergency roof repairs for businesses all over DFW. We are a family-owned roofing company based in Texas, and we are very familiar with the harsh weather challenges.
Our clients include restaurants, office buildings, and apartment complexes. We respond to calls 24/7 and show up as fast as we can.
Customer reviews
EXCELLENT Based on 60 reviews Posted on M MorrisonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was very impressed with the timeliness of SCR. Brian was not only patient with my insurance company inspector, but he was patient with me deciding on the perfect roof and gutter colors, which turned out great. He is honest, professional and knowledgeable. SCR was really a one stop shop to fit my needs of roofing, screens, and gutters. I love doing business with a resourceful company, basically, all your needs are under one roofing contractor. Brian thank you for your excellent and timely service. Mia MorrisonPosted on Emmett RichardsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a recent hail storm I called SCR’s Brian Roderick to come by and help me prepare a claim for my insurance company. This was the second time that I had worked with him on a claim for roof damage. The first had been handled very professionally with excellent results so I didn’t hesitate to be a return customer. Brian came out, inspected my roof and prepared a report listing all damages noted and an estimated cost to repair. He reviewed the insurance submission process with me and gave me a Hail Storm Report listing the date and time of the storm, path traveled, and reported hail stone sizes to submit with my claim. He also asked me to request that he be able to accompany the insurance company inspector during his inspection trip. The Insurance Company Inspector met with Brian on the agreed date, inspected the property with Brian and basically agreed to his assessment. As the agreed roof replacement date approached, Brian came by and reviewed what would happen the next day and announced that the crew would arrive and start work around 6:30 am. They arrived on time and the first person to ring our doorbell was the Crew Chief who introduced himself and said that if I had any questions during the day that I should just ask for him and he would take care of them. My wife asked him to be careful of some of the plants in our flower beds and he promptly had the crew arrange tarps to provide protective tents over sensitive plants. The work proceeded through the day with an army of roofers. I had told Brian that my wife and I had a dinner engagement and he showed up at the time I had told him we needed to leave. He said he would stay until everything was finished, including cleanup. When we returned that evening everything looked great and the property looked better than when they started. Hopefully I won’t need similar roofing efforts in the future, but in North Texas, who knows? If I do SCR will receive the call without hesitation. If Brian commits to something you can write it in ink…..it ain’t going to change.Posted on Joan MosesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. SCR did a wonderful job from the start. Giving us multiple options and prices for roofing material. Cody Williams, our rep, was in regular contact and helped answer many questions for us.Posted on Andrew BassfordTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a recent hailstorm, we received Mark and SCR's info from one of our neighbors after they had their roof replaced. Mark was very prompt in coming out and inspecting the roof. He helped guide us through the insurance claims and inspection process and helped facilitate the process of working with the insurance company. When it was time for the install, SCR had a large professional crew that came out and finished in about 6-7 hours. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards. It feels good going with a local experienced company, as some of the roofing folks that go door-to-door after weather events can be pushy. Mark and the team from SCR were very courteous and professional and didn't pressure us at any point in the process. We'll definitely work with SCR again in the future and would highly recommend them to others for honest pricing and quality work.Posted on Jay NewlinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a real pleasure to work with Mark Safford at SCR! He did a great job not only working with my insurance adjuster but also helped to navigate through my mortgage lender's third party Assurant. Mark's experience in the industry helped me to get the full value from my roofing claim, and his team did an excellent job getting the roof replaced with top-quality attention to details. I highly recommend working with Mark and his team!Posted on Mike FisherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our two story home suffered hail damage and had leaks on the dining room. CSR was our choice and it was right on target. Price, quality and workmanship is unmatched. Thank you for a great job.Posted on Jeff HagueTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic job replacing my roof after a hail storm. Cody made the process easy, quick and painless. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future. Highly recommend!!Posted on Sheri AmiriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful experience with my recent roof replacement! Mark and his team were efficient and so easy to work with. Highly recommend. Roof looks great!Posted on J MccoyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was the best roofing experience, and we’ve dealt with several over the years with our rent houses. Brian was referred to me from a couple of neighbors. He came to the house and explained the process in detail, worked with our insurance company, gave me a couple of nearby addresses to drive by to help narrow down our choices. We have a steep roof with lots of angles and they finished in one day, cleaned up, and we have a great looking roof! I can’t say enough good things about them. Everything went flawlessly.Posted on Janie CarterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent company! I will recommend Brian and his team at SCR, Inc to anyone needing roof repairs. They were punctual, hard working, honest and the quality of their work was beyond anything I've ever experienced. Thank you!

Tarping usually takes a few hours. Permanent repairs can take anywhere from 1 to several days, depending on the extent of the damage and the roof system. We will give you a clear timeline before we touch your roof.
Not in most cases. Many commercial repairs occur while your business is open. We can move noisy or messy work to off-hours when needed.
Yes. We run night and weekend crews for businesses that can’t shut down.
Commercial roofs are usually flat or low-slope, with single-ply membranes such as TPO, PVC, or EPDM. Residential roofs are mostly sloped with shingles.
It depends on your lease. Some leases put the roof on the landlord, others on the tenant, and many split it based on the type of repair. Check your lease terms or ask your property owner.
