SCR, Inc. is a commercial and residential roofer in Forney, TX. We offer hail damage roof repairs, replacement, and new roof installation services.
Why choose our roofing company in Forney Texas?
Our commercial roofing company provides flat roof installation, membrane replacement, and infrared moisture detection for businesses in Forney.
We work with retail buildings, warehouses, and office parks using materials like TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen. These systems resist long-term exposure, foot traffic, and rooftop equipment.
We start each project with a roof scan to detect water trapped below the surface. Then we prepare the deck, secure insulation, and install a leak-proof membrane. This process keeps your structure dry and extends roof life.
For large buildings, we offer scheduled maintenance plans to reduce emergency repairs. We also provide thermal inspection reports for property managers and insurance purposes.
Our residential roofing contractor in Forney TX uses shingles and underlayment systems that meet Texas building codes and withstand local storm activity.
We install weather-rated materials, upgrade attic ventilation, and reinforce flashing to protect your home from leaks and heat damage.
We check for weak decking, cracked sealants, and improper slope during every project. Then we install systems that support airflow, drainage, and thermal balance. This protects your home’s framing, insulation, and ceiling finishes.
Every installation includes documentation, product guides, and a workmanship warranty. We also provide maintenance tips to extend the system’s lifespan beyond 20 years.
Our emergency roof repair in Forney TX fixes leaks and prevents interior water damage after unexpected events.
We respond immediately with tarps, sealants, and structural support for both residential and commercial roofing projects in Forney.
Our crew inspects the affected area, removes debris, and identifies damage to shingles, decking, or flashing. We apply temporary fixes to stop water from entering the structure. If materials are severely compromised, we schedule follow-up work to complete full repairs.
All emergency services are documented for insurance use, including before-and-after photos and a repair summary. This helps homeowners avoid delays in claims and prevents repeat issues during the next storm.
Our storm damage repair service restores roofing structures affected by wind, flying debris, or fallen tree limbs.
We inspect the whole surface for displaced flashing and punctures in the underlayment. Then, we replace only the damaged sections to preserve the structurally sound parts.
Our storm damage roofers also inspect nearby components, such as gutters and roof vents, to ensure all systems are functioning correctly. If framing is exposed, we install protective layers to prevent further deterioration during the recovery period.
After repairs, we issue a condition report and offer guidance on how to prepare the roof for future storms. We use materials rated for impact resistance to reduce long-term risk.
Our hail damage repair service reseals exposed fasteners and corrects surface dents caused by impact.
We use visual inspection to detect bruised areas, especially where the protective granules have worn off.
When hail strikes roofing materials, it can cause small cracks that, over time, develop into leaks. We remove the affected shingles, check the decking for softness, and install new materials that match in color, weight, and brand.
We also address damage around roof edges, skylights, and vent boots. This prevents water intrusion and preserves insulation performance after a storm.
Our roof replacement involves removing worn materials, inspecting the structure, and installing a new system with upgraded weather protection.
We begin by tearing off old layers, including flashing and underlayment. We then inspect the deck for sagging, rot, or water stains before commencing the new roofing project.
For new installations, we build from the base up, installing moisture barriers, ventilation systems, and shingles that match the pitch and layout of the roof. Each component is installed using code-approved fastening methods. This service includes detailed cost estimates, material options, and post-installation care instructions.
We provide warranty coverage and guidance on maximizing the system’s lifespan under local climate conditions.
Roof inspections provide written documentation, evidence of damage, and condition reports required by insurers to process claims fairly.
We inspect every layer, from surface shingles to attic decking, and check for signs of storm damage, age-related wear, or construction defects.
A well-timed inspection helps you file stronger claims after weather events. It also proves that the roof was in good condition before the incident, which can prevent partial denials. Roof inspections are beneficial for policy renewals or real estate transactions.
Each report includes high-resolution photos, material condition ratings, and repair recommendations. Insurers often request these files to verify the cause, extent, and timeline of damage.
We challenge wrongful denials by submitting new evidence, clarifying policy terms, and providing third-party assessments to support your roofing claim.
Our team includes former adjusters who understand how insurers evaluate roofing projects. This enables us to present damage in a manner that meets our internal claim standards.
We collect overlooked details, such as uplifted flashing, fastener failures, or membrane splits, that were missed during the initial inspection. We then prepare a detailed appeal packet that includes photos, weather reports, and relevant code references.
Our experience with claim disputes helps homeowners and property managers secure coverage they were initially denied. Each overturned case adds to our process knowledge and strengthens future submissions.

M Morrison2024-06-25I was very impressed with the timeliness of SCR. Brian was not only patient with my insurance company inspector, but he was patient with me deciding on the perfect roof and gutter colors, which turned out great. He is honest, professional and knowledgeable. SCR was really a one stop shop to fit my needs of roofing, screens, and gutters. I love doing business with a resourceful company, basically, all your needs are under one roofing contractor. Brian thank you for your excellent and timely service. Emmett Richardson2024-05-18After a recent hail storm I called SCR’s Brian Roderick to come by and help me prepare a claim for my insurance company. This was the second time that I had worked with him on a claim for roof damage. The first had been handled very professionally with excellent results so I didn’t hesitate to be a return customer. Brian came out, inspected my roof and prepared a report listing all damages noted and an estimated cost to repair. He reviewed the insurance submission process with me and gave me a Hail Storm Report listing the date and time of the storm, path traveled, and reported hail stone sizes to submit with my claim. He also asked me to request that he be able to accompany the insurance company inspector during his inspection trip. The Insurance Company Inspector met with Brian on the agreed date, inspected the property with Brian and basically agreed to his assessment. As the agreed roof replacement date approached, Brian came by and reviewed what would happen the next day and announced that the crew would arrive and start work around 6:30 am. They arrived on time and the first person to ring our doorbell was the Crew Chief who introduced himself and said that if I had any questions during the day that I should just ask for him and he would take care of them. My wife asked him to be careful of some of the plants in our flower beds and he promptly had the crew arrange tarps to provide protective tents over sensitive plants. The work proceeded through the day with an army of roofers. I had told Brian that my wife and I had a dinner engagement and he showed up at the time I had told him we needed to leave. He said he would stay until everything was finished, including cleanup. When we returned that evening everything looked great and the property looked better than when they started. Hopefully I won’t need similar roofing efforts in the future, but in North Texas, who knows? If I do SCR will receive the call without hesitation. If Brian commits to something you can write it in ink…..it ain’t going to change.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Andrew Bassford2024-04-16After a recent hailstorm, we received Mark and SCR's info from one of our neighbors after they had their roof replaced. Mark was very prompt in coming out and inspecting the roof. He helped guide us through the insurance claims and inspection process and helped facilitate the process of working with the insurance company. When it was time for the install, SCR had a large professional crew that came out and finished in about 6-7 hours. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards. It feels good going with a local experienced company, as some of the roofing folks that go door-to-door after weather events can be pushy. Mark and the team from SCR were very courteous and professional and didn't pressure us at any point in the process. We'll definitely work with SCR again in the future and would highly recommend them to others for honest pricing and quality work.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

I highly recommend working with Mark and his team!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

J Mccoy2024-01-07This was the best roofing experience, and we’ve dealt with several over the years with our rent houses. Brian was referred to me from a couple of neighbors. He came to the house and explained the process in detail, worked with our insurance company, gave me a couple of nearby addresses to drive by to help narrow down our choices. We have a steep roof with lots of angles and they finished in one day, cleaned up, and we have a great looking roof! I can’t say enough good things about them. Everything went flawlessly.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Roofing materials such as metal panels, clay tiles, and high-impact shingles offer long lifespans in Texas’ climate. These materials resist hail, high winds, and UV exposure better than a basic three-tab shingle. Metal roofs can last over 40 years with proper maintenance. Synthetic materials also perform well in humid and storm-prone areas, especially those with manufacturer warranties rated for severe conditions.
Roofing solutions for low-slope buildings include TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen membranes that resist standing water and poor drainage.. These systems are heat-welded or chemically sealed to create watertight surfaces. They’re often used in commercial or modern residential designs. Some options include reflective coatings that reduce cooling costs. Proper slope planning and drainage are also part of effective low-slope roofing solutions.
Roof damage can cause electrical problems if water reaches outlets, wiring, or attic fixtures. Leaking water follows framing and may drip onto junction boxes or insulation, leading to short circuits or corrosion. Homeowners should check for flickering lights or tripped breakers after storms. If roof damage is confirmed, both roofing and electrical systems may need inspection.
A roofer can assess attic airflow, blocked soffits, and improper exhaust venting that affect roof health. Poor ventilation traps heat and moisture, which can weaken shingles and lead to mold buildup. During an inspection, a roofer checks for air movement across the attic and recommends ways to correct it, such as using ridge vents or upgrading the intake system. This improves energy efficiency and material lifespan.
