Emergency roof repair means stopping active damage fast. When wind peels shingles off your roof in Town North Estates, or hail cracks tiles in the downtown district, one call to us gets a crew to your door.

Local homeowners choose us because of our local roots and 24/7 availability.
Hail and storm damage drive a lot of our emergency calls in Terrell. Our crews handle the full range of urgent repair work.
Emergency roof tarping blocks water from entering your home. It is a temporary fix for active storm weather and is meant to stay in place until a full repair is scheduled. That window also gives you time to file an insurance claim.
Tarping is often the first move for after-hours calls. When a storm leaves your roof torn open, waiting for a dry day can cost thousands in interior damage. Our crews carry heavy-duty tarps rated for UV exposure and high wind.
We install the tarp properly so it withstands any storms. Our emergency tarping and board-up service can be deployed immediately you call.
Leak patching fixes the specific spot where water is entering your home.
Most leaks don’t come from a big, obvious hole. They come from failed flashing, a cracked vent boot, a loose shingle, or a split seam around a chimney. Our crews use thermal imaging scans to pinpoint the exact source. Then we seal it with matching materials and proper technique.
Patches are built to last, not just hold overnight. On full roof leak repair jobs, we check for early signs of water damage. That way, one patched leak doesn’t turn into new ones next week.
Replacing missing shingles restores your roof’s waterproof layer before the next rain causes leaks.
Texas wind gusts can lift or tear off whole sections of shingles in minutes. Once they’re gone, the underlayment is exposed. Water gets in fast, and the deck below starts rotting within days.
Our crews replace missing shingles to manufacturer specs. You get a repair that blends in, seals out water, and holds through the next storm.

EXCELLENT Based on 60 reviews Posted on M MorrisonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was very impressed with the timeliness of SCR. Brian was not only patient with my insurance company inspector, but he was patient with me deciding on the perfect roof and gutter colors, which turned out great. He is honest, professional and knowledgeable. SCR was really a one stop shop to fit my needs of roofing, screens, and gutters. I love doing business with a resourceful company, basically, all your needs are under one roofing contractor. Brian thank you for your excellent and timely service. Mia MorrisonPosted on Emmett RichardsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a recent hail storm I called SCR’s Brian Roderick to come by and help me prepare a claim for my insurance company. This was the second time that I had worked with him on a claim for roof damage. The first had been handled very professionally with excellent results so I didn’t hesitate to be a return customer. Brian came out, inspected my roof and prepared a report listing all damages noted and an estimated cost to repair. He reviewed the insurance submission process with me and gave me a Hail Storm Report listing the date and time of the storm, path traveled, and reported hail stone sizes to submit with my claim. He also asked me to request that he be able to accompany the insurance company inspector during his inspection trip. The Insurance Company Inspector met with Brian on the agreed date, inspected the property with Brian and basically agreed to his assessment. As the agreed roof replacement date approached, Brian came by and reviewed what would happen the next day and announced that the crew would arrive and start work around 6:30 am. They arrived on time and the first person to ring our doorbell was the Crew Chief who introduced himself and said that if I had any questions during the day that I should just ask for him and he would take care of them. My wife asked him to be careful of some of the plants in our flower beds and he promptly had the crew arrange tarps to provide protective tents over sensitive plants. The work proceeded through the day with an army of roofers. I had told Brian that my wife and I had a dinner engagement and he showed up at the time I had told him we needed to leave. He said he would stay until everything was finished, including cleanup. When we returned that evening everything looked great and the property looked better than when they started. Hopefully I won’t need similar roofing efforts in the future, but in North Texas, who knows? If I do SCR will receive the call without hesitation. If Brian commits to something you can write it in ink…..it ain’t going to change.Posted on Joan MosesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. SCR did a wonderful job from the start. Giving us multiple options and prices for roofing material. Cody Williams, our rep, was in regular contact and helped answer many questions for us.Posted on Andrew BassfordTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a recent hailstorm, we received Mark and SCR's info from one of our neighbors after they had their roof replaced. Mark was very prompt in coming out and inspecting the roof. He helped guide us through the insurance claims and inspection process and helped facilitate the process of working with the insurance company. When it was time for the install, SCR had a large professional crew that came out and finished in about 6-7 hours. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards. It feels good going with a local experienced company, as some of the roofing folks that go door-to-door after weather events can be pushy. Mark and the team from SCR were very courteous and professional and didn't pressure us at any point in the process. We'll definitely work with SCR again in the future and would highly recommend them to others for honest pricing and quality work.Posted on Jay NewlinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a real pleasure to work with Mark Safford at SCR! He did a great job not only working with my insurance adjuster but also helped to navigate through my mortgage lender's third party Assurant. Mark's experience in the industry helped me to get the full value from my roofing claim, and his team did an excellent job getting the roof replaced with top-quality attention to details. I highly recommend working with Mark and his team!Posted on Mike FisherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our two story home suffered hail damage and had leaks on the dining room. CSR was our choice and it was right on target. Price, quality and workmanship is unmatched. Thank you for a great job.Posted on Jeff HagueTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic job replacing my roof after a hail storm. Cody made the process easy, quick and painless. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future. Highly recommend!!Posted on Sheri AmiriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful experience with my recent roof replacement! Mark and his team were efficient and so easy to work with. Highly recommend. Roof looks great!Posted on J MccoyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was the best roofing experience, and we’ve dealt with several over the years with our rent houses. Brian was referred to me from a couple of neighbors. He came to the house and explained the process in detail, worked with our insurance company, gave me a couple of nearby addresses to drive by to help narrow down our choices. We have a steep roof with lots of angles and they finished in one day, cleaned up, and we have a great looking roof! I can’t say enough good things about them. Everything went flawlessly.Posted on Janie CarterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent company! I will recommend Brian and his team at SCR, Inc to anyone needing roof repairs. They were punctual, hard working, honest and the quality of their work was beyond anything I've ever experienced. Thank you!

Terrell is surrounded by Forney, Kaufman, Wills Point, Rockwall, Mesquite, Heath, and Royse City. Dallas sits 32 miles west, and Canton lies 27 miles east. Most nearby cities are 15 to 30 minutes away.
A proper emergency tarp or patch usually lasts 30 to 90 days. Lifespan depends on weather, UV exposure, and how well the tarp is anchored. Our crews install them to hold through the insurance claim and repair window.
Minor emergency repairs often don’t need a permit. But larger roof replacements or structural damage repairs do. The City of Terrell issues permits through its building department.
We dispatch our team as soon as possible for Terrell emergencies. Most calls get a crew on-site within a few hours.
Yes. Even small hail dents can split shingle mats below the surface and expose the underlayment. Thermal scans and close inspection catch damage that looks minor from the ground.
Age alone doesn’t kill a claim. If a storm caused new damage, that damage is covered even on an older roof. We carefully document the storm-specific damage so your carrier can see what actually happened.
Move valuables away from the drip, place a bucket below it, and call 972-839-6834. Take photos of every wet spot inside and out. Don’t climb the roof yourself. Our crew can be there the same day.
